We can very quickly ruin a good day with wrong thinking. Relationships can be compromised, business deals can go sour, marriages can fail.
It is so easy to get focused on all that is wrong with a situation or a person instead of all that is right.
Sometime it is not the other person that we need to replace, sometimes it is our negative thinking that we need to replace.
Sure, many times there are genuine circumstances why we may feel less than positive towards a particular situation or person.
But on closer examination, more often than not, it is our own tendency to engage with the wrong thinking.
If you catch yourself being accusatory, suspicious or hostile often, stop and think. Remember, those negative feelings are simply a form of fear.
Then make a conscious effort to replace suspicion with trust and hostility with understanding.
Trust breeds trust.
Trusting ourselves, trusting others, trusting in the process, trusting in the progress of life and trusting in the universe, keeps us relaxed (less on edge), happy and healthy.
This also promotes the right thinking.
