The most important thing in life is not what we get. It is who we become and who we impact.
When we shift our focus from 'having more' to 'being/becoming more', having more just becomes a natural consequence of that.
When we set an intention daily to affect others positively, we end up serving ourselves in the process.
Becoming intentional about 'adding value' to others can propel our own success and enhance the quality of our life.
Unless we set a deliberate intention to add value to others, it won't just happen automatically. Why?
Because, for most of us the trivial things in life consume most of our time and attention.
Try adopting a philosophy that considers adding value to others before looking at adding value to yourself.
This way of thinking changed my life. It helped me think bigger, magnify my impact, and even increase my income, even though I didn't directly aim for those things with the value I chose to add.
Intentionally adding value to others goes beyond the mentality of just 'making a living'.
It is about adopting a philosophy that helps us 'make a life'.
